Field research & laboratory

Water management starts with facts. We are convinced of that. As Acacia Water operates in the field, our experts know what actually is going on. We are constantly collecting the data, from hydrological properties to the socio-economic situation of the area. Our researchers, academics, laboratory staff and field researchers convert this data into advice that can actually be implemented.

In our specialized laboratory we investigate the chemical composition of water and the specific characteristics of the soil. Our theoretical knowledge forms the basis of our geophysical measurements (such as dualem, EFT/CVES). The fieldwork consists of all kind of activities: from installing monitoring points to carrying out oxygen measurements in the soil. In addition, we supervise the installation of wells from start to finish: from design to drilling and testing effectiveness.
